Hammerhead sharks are not a single shark species, but a family of sharks. There are 9 species populating this family, and they range from 3ft to 20ft and from 6.6lbs to 1300lbs. The unique shape of their head was believed to aid in maneuverability, but recently it has became believed that their shape evolved to more so to enhance vision; they are able to use their unique shape to see above and below them at the same time—nearly 360˚ vision.
The hammerhead sharks are generally sole hunters at night, but during the day they form large schools that have been observed as up to 100 sharks.

Basking shark (Cetorhinus maximus) is the second largest extant fish. It is a slow moving and freely harmless filter feeder—meaning its main source of food is plankton. C. maximus have ~100 hooked teeth per row with 3-4 rows; these teeth are only 5 or 6 mm long.

C. maximus corpses have been thought to be sea serpents or plesiosaurs when washed up on shore, and the second picture is an illustration appearing in an issue of Harper’s weekly in 1868, which is believed to actually have been a C. maximus.

Ahaetulla nasuta (Green Vine Snake) is a slim tree snake found in throughout southeast Asia. They are slow moving creatures that rely on their camouflage to get their prey. They are mildly venomous. The snake can expand its body, as seen above, to show off white and black scales, otherwise it is totally green.
